Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has re-emphaised the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC)’s commitment to intensify its efforts to empower women through strategic investment in education and financial inclusion.

Cambodia values, respects and empowers women to reach their full potentials, the Premier said at the opening ceremony of the Pinnacle Entrepreneur Forum and the 2024 ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs’ Network (AWEN) Award, held at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra here this morning, stressing that Cambodia stands as a shining example of gender equality, a beacon of hope for the entire ASEAN community.

To achieve this vision, the RGC under his leadership must and will continue to invest in women’s education, provide access to finance and dismantle the barriers that hold their journey.

We must continue to cultivate the culture that celebrates women’s achievements, encourages their participation in all spheres of life and ensure their voices are heard and their con
tributions are valued, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said.

‘I will continue to champion your cause to be your advocate, your allies, your unwavering supporter. Together, both women and men, let’s anchor the groundbreaking chapter in the history of Cambodia and ASEAN, a chapter of shared empowerment, unprecedented economic prosperity, and lasting social harmony,’ the Prime Minister underlined.

According to the Cambodian Women Entrepreneurs’ Network (CambWEN), the Pinnacle Entrepreneur Forum will spotlight Cambodia’s vibrant entrepreneurial landscape, with a special focus on women-led enterprises. The event is aimed to showcase the Kingdom’s investment potential on the global stage.

With a commitment to supporting women-led businesses and fostering strategic partnerships, the Pinnacle Entrepreneur Forum will recognise over 22 exceptional entrepreneurs this year, said CamWEN, adding that this initiative aligns with the RGC’s vision of sustainable development and economic advancement.
