KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded higher this morning.

At 9.29 am, spot month August 2024 contract climbed 12.5 points to 1,542.5, September 2024 contract rose by 10.5 points to 1,523.5, December 2024 added 4.0 points to 1,524.0 and March 2025 gained by 10.0 points to 1,520.0.

Turnover amounted to 6,205 lots, while open interest stood at 52,930 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI gained by 16.20 points to 1,552.34 from Monday’s close of 1,536.48.
