Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea received a courtesy call by H.E. Wang Wenbin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the ministry on Aug. 8.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), during the courtesy meeting, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister congratulated H.E. Wang Wenbin on his appointment as the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia and stated that the MFAIC stands ready to work closely with him and Chinese Embassy in Phnom Penh to contribute to further promoting Cambodia-China bilateral relations.

H.E. Wang Wenbin expressed his sincere gratitude to H.E. Deputy Prime Minister for receiving the courtesy call and his warm words.

Both sides highly appreciated the continuous development of the bilateral relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between Cambodia and China, which cover almost all areas. They also di
scussed the further strengthening of the ironclad friendship and deepening of diamond cooperation to contribute to building a high-quality, high-level and high-standard Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future.

H.E. Sok Chenday Sophea expressed confidence that during his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, H.E. Ambassador will actively contribute to bringing further significant achievements to Cambodia-China relations.
