RAC Hosts Dialogue to Tap Cambodia’s Opportunities in China’s Reforms


The Royal Academy of Cambodia has hosted a dialogue that looked into the new journey of China’s reforms as new opportunities for Cambodia-China cooperation.

Over 250 speakers, scholars, concerned officials, and journalists attended the dialogue on Aug. 9, organised in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the Cambodia-China Friendship Radio of the National Radio and Television Administration of China.

Dr. Sok Touch, President of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, highlighted that the important discussion will determine new insights and openings that will contribute positively to strengthening and expanding the relationship between our two countries.

H.E. Wang Wenbin, Ambassador of China to Cambodia, highly valued the gathering and discussion, stressing that China’s high-quality development will bring more opportunities to all countries in the world, including Cambodia.

The dialogue follows the adoption of a resolution by the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China’s (CPC
) Central Committee earlier to lead China’s comprehensive reform to further foster the country’s modernisation.
