The Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) has issued a statement reconfirming their firm stance to protect the legitimate Royal Government at any cost.

‘The RCAF is committed to safeguarding peace, national stability and public order at all costs. Any incitement, any attempt to overthrow a legitimate government using a violent, undemocratic mean is a crime,’ said the statement made public on Aug. 11.

Moreover, it continued, the RCAF will crack down and destroy all incitement with an intention to destroy the nation, destroy peace, and create subversion in order to overthrow the legitimate Royal Government in any form.

‘The RCAF stands as a centre of solidarity, strong internal unity, strict observance of orders, an absolute loyal force and the strongest backbone of the legitimate Royal Government, led by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, born from the overwhelmingly support of the citizens,’ underlined the statement.

The RCAF therefore ordered all the armed s
ervices, including the Royal Cambodian Army, the Royal Cambodian Navy, the Royal Cambodian Air Force, the Royal Gendarmerie, the Bodyguard Command, and so on, to thoroughly control their forces, strengthen internal discipline, and defeat all enemy forces in a timely manner.

The stance was made clear after a small number of opposition extremists abroad had recently called for and incited the people and the armed forces to revolt against the Royal Government with the intention of dividing and destroying Cambodia, which is current in full peace and development.
