Korean Ambassador Pledges to Further Boost Cambodia-Korea Relations

The Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Park Jung-Wook said he will do his best to further promote the relations and cooperation between the two countries.

In his courtesy visit to Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh this morning, H.E. Park Jung-Wook expressed his commitment to bring the bilateral relationship between the the Republic of Korea and Cambodia to a new height through close coordination with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to effectively implement the agreements and initiatives agreed by both nations’ leaders.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister expressed his pleasure at the steady and continuous development of relations between the two countries, which have been elevated to a “strategic partnership” in 2024.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked the Government and people of the Republic of Korea for their support and contribution to Cambodia’s socio-economic development.

In the meeting, the Cambod
ian Premier and H.E. Ambassador also discussed a number of key areas of cooperation, including trade and investment, defence and security, tourism, people-to-people exchanges, vocational and technical training and so on.
