Heineken Vows to Continue Its Investment in Cambodia

Heineken is committed to continuing to invest in Cambodia by complying with the laws and regulations in force, protecting consumers and contributing to social responsibility, including environmental protection.

The commitment was made by Mr. Jacco Van Der Linden, President for Asia-Pacific at Heineken, when he paid a courtesy call on Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh this morning.

Mr. Jacco Van Der Linden briefed the Cambodian Premier on the company’s business operations in Cambodia in the past 30 years and expressed his gratitude to relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions for their cooperation and attention to the company.

In reply, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked Heineken for its commitment to continue its investment in Cambodia and for its contribution to the socio-economic development, including direct and indirect job creation in Cambodia over the past three decades.

The Prime Minister highlighted the Royal
Government’s continued attention and efforts to ensure a better and attractive investment environment through the introduction of laws, regulations and package of measures to guarantee equal competitions, promote the success of existing investors and attract the new ones.
