Cambodian PM Sends Condolence Message to Vietnamese Counterpart


Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed his sympathy and condolences to Viet Nam over the great losses caused by Typhoon Yagi.

‘I have learnt, with profound sadness, about the casualties and massive damage to properties, infrastructure and crops caused by Typhoon Yagi ravaging several northern provinces of Viet Nam on 7 September 2024,’ he wrote in his message to his Vietnamese counterpart H.E. Pham Minh Chinh.

‘On behalf of the Government and people of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I extend my deepest condolences and profound sympathies to you, the Government and people of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, particularly the bereaved families, at this difficult time,’ read the message AKP received this evening.

‘I am confident that, under your able leadership, the resilient people of Viet Nam will overcome this natural disaster. I wish the injured a full and speedy recovery,’ he concluded.
