Cambodia Earns Another Gold Medal in Badminton

Cambodia this evening clinched another gold medal in Badminton at the 32nd SEA Games, bringing its gold medal tally to 47.

Badminton gold medal was won in Mixed Team event at Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh.

By far, Cambodia bagged a total of 47 gold medals including 10 in Vovinam, 8 in Kun Bokator, 7 in Kun Khmer, 4 in Chinlone, 3 in Jiu-Jitsu, 2 in Soft Tennis, 2 in E-Sports, 2 in Triathlon, 2 in Pencak Silat, 1 in Billiard, 1 in Ouk Chaktrang (Chess), 1 in Basketball, 1 in Cricket, 1 in Karate, and 1 in Wushu, and 1 in Badminton.

Regional athletes are set to compete in 37 sports with 581 events – 304 for men, 229 for women and 48 mixed – at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia from May 5 to 17.

The SEA Games 2023 is welcoming over 12,400 athletes, coaches, and staff from participating ten ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste.
