Fencing Joins Other 20 Sports on Competition Programme Today

Fencing, a combat sport that features sword fighting, will join other sports which kick off and continue their competitions today at the 32nd SEA Games.

This “sport of kings” will start at 10:00am with Men’s and Women’s Individual Epee and Individual Sabre events.

Other sports on today’s competition list are Cricket, Golf, Petanque, Beach Volleyball, Athletics, Swimming, Cycling, Basketball, E-Sports, Sepak Takraw, Wushu, Badminton, Billard, Floorball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Diving, Volleyball, Boxing, Kun Khmer, Field Hockey, and Football.

Until May 11, at 9:00 am, Vietnam got in total 162 medals (50 gold, 50 silver and 62 bronze), followed by Cambodia with 137 medals (47 gold, 41 silver and 49 bronze); and Thailand with 135 medals (47 gold, 36 silver and 52 bronze).

Cambodia has been hosting the 32nd SEA Games from May 5 to 17 under the motto “Sport: Live in Peace”.
