Host Country Earns Another Gold Medal in Cricket

Cambodia this evening gained another gold medal for Cricket in Men’s T20 at the 32nd SEA Games 2023, bringing the host country’s gold medal tally to 56.

This is the second gold medal earned by the country in Cricket.

Cambodia has so far bagged 56 gold medals including 10 in Vovinam, 15 in Kun Bokator, 7 in Kun Khmer, 4 in Chinlone, 3 in Jiu-Jitsu, 2 in Soft Tennis, 2 in E-Sports, 2 in Triathlon, 2 in Pencak Silat, 2 in Cricket, 1 in Billiard, 1 in Ouk Chaktrang (Chess), 1 in Basketball, 1 in Karate, and 1 in Wushu, 1 in Badminton, and 1 in Athletics.

Regional athletes are set to compete in 37 sports with 581 events-304 for men, 229 for women and 48 mixed-at the SEA Games 2023 being held from May 5 to 17.

The SEA Games 2023 is welcoming over 12,400 athletes, coaches, and staff from participating ten ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste.
