Local Products Promoted at SEA Games

Over 40 local enterprises have been joining hands in promoting Cambodian products among the local people, international sports delegates and foreign tourists at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh during the 32nd SEA Games.

Some 200 kinds of Cambodia-made products have been put on display in a fair organised by the One Village One Product (OVOP) Movement during the SEA Games hosted by Cambodia from May 5 to 17, 2023.

The fair’s main goal is to promote Cambodian products, increase exports and create more job opportunities.

A vendor of Khmer Scarf (Krama) told AKP that his products have attracted interests with best sales. “Exhibitors received a lot of support and gain appreciations from local people and foreigners who come to visit the SEA Games,” he said.

He encouraged the participants of the OVOP Movement to sell their products in a honest and responsible manner.

The products displayed on about 20 booths include food and beverages, scarves, bags, accessories, souvenirs, and so on.
