Myanmar recorded 1,307 new COVID-19 infections yesterday, bringing the tally to 541,904, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.
A total of 24,311 lab samples have been tested in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate is 5.38 percent, the release said.
The country’s death toll has remained at 19,310, as no new deaths from COVID-19 were reported yesterday.
The number of recovered patients has increased to 514,833 in the country, with 226 new recoveries reported yesterday, the ministry said.
Myanmar has tested over 6.61 million samples for COVID-19.
