Seven New Investment Projects with Over 10,000 Job Opportunities Approved

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has announced to approve seven new investment projects generating a total of 11,867 job opportunities for Cambodians.

According to the council’s news release made public this afternoon, the newly approved projects with a total investment capital of US$60.1 million are located in Kampong Speu and Kandal provinces and Phnom Penh capital.

Under the new projects, the source pointed out, a mango processing factory, a garment factory, a bag factory, and a sportswear factory will be established in Phnom Srouch and Samrong Torng districts, and Oudong Me Chey city of Kampong Speu province.

Moreover, it added, two footwear and shoe accessories factories will be created in Ang Snuol district of Kandal province while another garment factory in Khan Pursenchey, Phnom Penh.
