Singaporean Coordinating Minister for National Security Pays Courtesy Call on Cambodian PM

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this morning visiting Singaporean Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security H.E. Teo Chee Hean.

H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Personal Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, said that in the courtesy meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of the relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Singapore, and called on both sides to push the implementation of the agreements and memorandums of understanding already signed, especially on energy and voluntary carbon markets.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister thanked the Government and people of Singapore for sending athletes to participate in the SEA Games in Cambodia, which makes the regional sporting event more solemn.

For his part, H.E. Teo Chee Hean congratulated Cambodia on the smooth, great and successful organisation of SEA Games, affirming that all athletes and participants enjoyed warm welcome.

The Singapore coordinating minister also praised the Royal Government of Cambodia on the successful efforts against the COVID-19 and the successful hosting of the ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh last year.
