Cambodian football team, Phnom Penh Crown, beat their counterpart, Dynamic Herb Cebu from the Philippines 3:0 in the first match of Group F for the AFC Cup 2024 qualifiers at Rizal Memorial Stadium in the Philippines on Sept. 21.
The three goals, earned by Mr. Shintaro at the 42nd minute, Mr. On Chanpoline at the 54th minute and Mr. Nieto at the 84th minute, temporarily placed Cambodia 2nd in Group F, while the 1st place is Australian team, Macarthur FC, which defeated Myanmar team, Shan United, 3:0 at Thuwunna Stadium in Myanmar.
Phnom Penh Crown will have other five more matches with Myanmar, Australia and the Philippines.
The AFC Cup 2024 qualifiers feature 36 teams, divided into nine groups of four teams each.
