Hanoi: Twenty Cambodian sports delegates, coaches, and athletes are attending the Southeast Asian and Asian DanceSport Championships 2025 organized by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) in Vietnam. According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the two events, taking place from July 8 to 13, have attracted about 3,000 athletes from 37 countries. The Cambodian delegation includes 18 athletes, a technical director and delegation head, Mr. Shou Dong, and a coach, Ms. You Shu Jie. The 18 Cambodian dancers will compete in four disciplines: Latin Dance, Standard Dance, Solo Latin, and Solo Standard Dance, as mentioned by Ms. Hang Simorn, Secretary General of the Cambodian DanceSport Federation (CDSF). She expressed optimism about the athletes' chances of winning medals, citing their hard work and experience.
