Cambodian PM to Receive Highest Medal of Honour from Indonesia

H.E. Kitti Tesaphibal Pundit Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will receive the highest medal of honour Bintang Kartika Eka Pakci Utama from the Indonesian National Military.

The medal conferment is in recognition of for H.E. Kitti Tesaphibal Pundit’s outstanding role as the previous Chief of Staff of the Royal Cambodian Armed Force, said a source.

The source pointed out that the official conferment ceremony will be held during the Cambodian Premier’s visit to Jakarta, Indonesia for the 43rd ASEAN Summit and related meetings.

Bintang Kartika Eka Pakci Utama is a badge of honour given by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to honour the services of an extraordinary soldier for the progress and development.

This award was officially created in 1968.
