According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the spokesperson, speaking at a regular press briefing held at 7:00 a.m. in Phnom Penh, stated that, despite the relative calm, Cambodian armed forces continue to exercise full vigilance and remain fully committed to their duties on the ground. She reaffirmed Cambodia's unwavering adherence to the ceasefire agreement reached on July 28, 2025, in Putrajaya, Malaysia, through the leading efforts of H.E. Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, and H.E. Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, with active participation from the People's Republic of China. "This ceasefire, which has received broad international support, reflects a shared aspiration for peace in the region," she said.
