DL E and c Co. on Thursday reported its fourth-quarter net income of 5.9 billion won (US$4.4 million), down 88.9 percent from a year earlier.
Operating income for the October-December period was 88.7 billion won, down 26.2 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 3.6 percent to 2.33 trillion won.
The earnings fell short of market expectations. The average estimate of net profit by analysts stood at 83.4 billion won, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
