BAKU: The final text of the agreement on "host country" to be signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will be ready shortly taking into account the conclusions of the relevant state structures, the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee in connection with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) Samir Nuriyev said at the fifth meeting of the Committee on July 8, Trend reports. Referring to Azerbaijan's priorities at COP29, Samir Nuriyev noted that a preliminary list of proposals consisting of 14 initiatives has been prepared based on the proposals of various governmental structures, as well as intensive discussions with the UN and other international organizations.
