Kampong Chhnang province will host the National Cycling Championship 2023 from Jan. 5 to 8, 2024.
The plan was shared by Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodian Cycling Federation, adding that the event will focus on selecting the best athletes for the 2024 national cyclists.
Kampong Chhnang is a potential province with mountains and attractive landscape suitable for the cycling tournament, said Mr. Nou Chamroeun.
There will be two disciplines, including road biking and mountain biking.
The road biking entails men nursery road biking, men junior road biking, and men road biking; and the mountain biking includes men nursery mountain biking, junior men mountain biking, women mountain biking, and men mountain biking.
