The Cambodia Triathlon Federation (CTF) will organise the Triathlon National Championship 2023 at the beach in Kep province from Dec. 15 to 17.
The update was shared with AKP on Nov. 2 by Mr. Ngin Sokpanha, CTF Secretary General, adding that the Triathlon National Championship 2023 aims to gather athletes for training in 2024.
It will also sharpen their capacity and allow CTF to identify those who are outstanding for the 5th Asian Youth Games to be hosted by Cambodia in 2029.
The national championship entails three disciplines, including Men Standard Aquathlon (1-kilometre swimming + 5-kilometre running), Women Aquathlon (1-kilometre swimming + 5-kilometre running), and U18 Men-Women Sprint Aquathlon (500-metre swimming + 2.5-kilometre running).
