PHASE 2 UPUONLINE® APPLICATION OPEN TODAY UNTIL JUNE 9 – MOHE

PUTRAJAYA, The Phase 2 application for UPUOnline® for admission into the Academic Session 2024/2025 for Foundation, Certificate, Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree programmes at 20 public universities, 36 polytechnics, 105 community colleges, and four Public Skills Training Institutes (ILKA) is open from today until June 9.

The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) announced that the application is only open for programmes that do not require interviews or examinations, and all eligible candidates are invited to seize this opportunity to pursue higher education.

“Public universities, polytechnics, community colleges, and ILKAs nationwide are offering 504 courses to Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) graduates, and 1,114 courses to Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) graduates or equivalent,” read the statement released today.

MoHE informed candidates that they can purchase the UPUOnline® PIN number through Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) and submit their applications via the UPUOnline® payment process at any of the
350 BSN branches, 700 BSN ATMs, and myBSN Internet banking.

BSN will issue the UPUOnline® PIN number along with a copy of the receipt, and candidates are advised to ensure that the payment slip is kept as proof of purchase for reference, it added.

MoHE also announced that the “Program Jom Masuk U 2024” (JMU2024) will be held from May 4 until June 9 in 10 zones nationwide.

JMU2024 aims to disseminate information about the educational programmes offered by institutions of higher education under MoHE, including public universities, private higher education institutions, polytechnics, community colleges as well as ILKAs.

MoHE stated that JMU2024 targets candidates sitting for the SPM, STPM, Matriculation, Foundation, Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia, and Diploma or equivalent examinations.

JMU2024 will be launched at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perak Branch, Seri Iskandar Campus, and the closing ceremony will be held at UiTM Sabah Branch, Kota Kinabalu Campus.
