Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wished all eligible voters in the Pulai Parliamentary constituency and Simpang Jeram state assembly by-elections, ‘Happy Voting’ and hoped they will fulfill their responsibilities as voters.
The Prime Minister shared his wishes to the voters through a Facebook posting tonight.
Anwar also reminded the voters in Pulai and Simpang Jeram to spread the wave of unity in Pulai and Simpang Jeram.
“To those who will return to vote, be careful on the roads and may your trips be a safe one. May God preserve your safety. I wish everyone Happy voting, Choose Harapan, Choose Perpaduan,” he said.
Bernama had earlier reported that 205,810 registered voters are eligible to vote in the Pulai Parliamentary constituency and Simpang Jeram state assembly, tomorrow.
From the total, 165,509 registered voters are eligible to vote in Pulai while Simpang Jeram involves 40,301 voters who will choose the candidate who will replace the late Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.
Both seats fell vacant after Salahuddin who was also the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living passed away on July 23.
