Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today wishes a happy 65th anniversary to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel.
Anwar, in his social media post, also expressed his deep appreciation to all RMAF personnel for their commitment to protecting the country’s sovereignty and security.
“Your services and sacrifices are highly appreciated by all Malaysians,” said Anwar.
The air force in the Malaysian Armed Forces was established on June 2, 1958, and was known as the Royal Federal Air Force (TUDP) at that time.
The RMAF's anniversary is celebrated on June 1 each year.
This year’s anniversary is celebrated with the theme ‘Kuasa Udara, Perisai Kedaulatan Negara’ (Air Power, Shield of National Sovereignty).
