Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed his congratulations to former Thai Prime Minister H.E. Thaksin Shinawatra for obtaining the reduction of prison sentence to one year.

"I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to His Excellency Thaksin Shinawatra, who was pardoned by the Thai king, reducing eight-year prison sentence to just one year," he wrote on his social media this evening.

"I wish my brother continued good luck," Samdech Techo Hun Sen added.
