SEA Games 2023: Khan Jessa Wins Three Jiu Jitsu Competitions This afternoon

Cambodian Jiu-Jitsu fighter Khan Jessa this afternoon won over her three counterparts from Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand in the Ne-Waza GI-52 kg event.

Khan Jessa defeated Singaporean athlete May Yong Teh, Vietnamese athlete Dang Thi Huyen and Thai athlete Nuchanat Singchalad 100:0.

Besides, she will continue to compete in the final with her counterpart from the Philippines at 4:00 PM.

Jiu Jitsu competition was kicked off this afternoon at the Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh under the presidency of H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports and Vice Chairman of Cambodian SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games Organising Committees (CAMSOC-CAMAPGOC).

The Cambodian-Mexican-American Khan Jessa has earned many world titles in the past few years. She is also Cambodia’s gold medalist of Ju-Jitsu World Championship 2022 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates; 2022 Pen Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the U.S.; Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia; and ASEAN Games 2019 in the Philippines.
