President of the Cambodian Senate, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, said he wanted to see the halal industry succeed in Cambodia. This was one of the agendas of the meeting between Samdech Techo Hun Sen and H.E. Shaharuddin Onn, newly appointed Malaysian Ambassador to Cambodia, at the Senate Palace here this morning. Samdech Techo Hun Sen thus called on H.E. Shaharuddin Onn to further help Cambodia in the development of Cambodia's halal industry. The senate president and the Malaysian ambassador also exchanged views on the cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, tourism, politics, security, investment, etc. On the occasion, H.E. Shaharuddin Onn invited Samdech Techo Hun Sen to revisit Malaysia and in response, the senate president accepted the invitation and will find a suitable time to pay the visit.
