At least 150 big bikes from the capital and provinces of Cambodia are expected to gather in Siem Reap for the Big Bike Elite Night, an event to revitalise tourism in the province. The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Siem Reap provincial administration and the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA), will jointly organise the event on July 13. H.E. Kuch Panhasa, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Tourism, will preside over the official opening of the event. Mr. Thim Sereyvuth, Acting Director of the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Tourism, told AKP that the Big Bike Elite Night event aims primarily at domestic tourists. Siem Reap, he added, is a focus of events and activities by the government to further attract more visitors to the province, and so far, the 'Visit Siem Reap 2024' strategy has been introduced to support the purpose. Naypyidaw: Myanmar has, for the first time, acknowledged that nearly 309,000 Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh as former residents of Rakhine state, saying they would be allowed to return once security
