Taihan Electric Wire Co. on Monday estimated its first-quarter operating profit at 28.8 billion won (US$20.8 million), up 62.7 percent from a year earlier.

Revenue increased 12 percent to 788.5 billion won. The data for net income was not available.

The company will release its final earnings report later.
