A yacht headed to Jeju from Taiwan carrying three people aboard has lost contact, prompting the Coast Guard to launch a search, officials said Sunday. The Jeju coast guard officials said they received a report the 19.5-ton yacht lost contact around 4:42 p.m., and began a search with seven vessels but were experiencing difficulty due to bad weather.
